VACATION
I am so excited! I leave on Saturday for a week long vacation to Red River, NM with my sister. It will be alot of sitting around the fire and relaxing. I am really looking forward to hanging out with my sister and taking in the fresh mountain air. I am going to miss daniel and my kittens to pieces, but I will be back soon.

Almost time to get sliced!
This week was flying by until today! Now it is crawling by. I can’t wait until Friday for John Vanderslice! (Seriously Matt you got to get your tickets!) Then off to Houston to get the van fixed, fingers crossed. Hope everyone is having a good Thursday!

ughh
Work has not been very fun today and i am fully ready to be home doing some gardening and drinking beers and reading on the back porch. Im obsessed with Ray Bradbury right now, again. When i was younger he was my favorite. I bought an old copy of ‘R is For Rocket’ earlier this month; and ever since have been captivated with his ideas and his imagination. I can vaugely recal the way that book made me feel when i first read it 16 years ago. Though my 5th grade mind wasnt grasping his consistent and poignant comentary on Humanity and the trials therein, what i did grasp was the magic of his writing. I read it cover to cover and then i imagine i lost it at some point. Either way it has been really incredible to reconnect with such a wonderful book and experience it a different way now that im older.
I really need you to plant that tomato plant today. I think the other one has some good tomatos we can pick too! Hopefully I won’t be home too late today.

Word on the street- er, the e1.800 hall- is that it will be an immediate special session. i.e- June 2. Lame.It is Saturday at work and the D’s are trying to delay the bills on the floor, so we never reach voter id. The deadline is Tuesday at midnight. I am not sure if it is going to work, but we can only hope so. I am sure there is going to be a special on something though. Here’s hoping to it being in July and not June!
PS- Chubbing is the act of talking excessively on a bill to delay action.
There is no way. Perry needs some time to raise money after session. I bet he calls one for July and Aug.
